Carlota Sánchez Mc Sweeney (Guatemala, 2000) is a photographer based in Barcelona. After moving to Paris to pursue her passion for photography, she studied at Spéos Photography School (2022–2024), specializing in documentary photography and photojournalism.
Her work is characterized by a deep sensitivity to human emotions, a curiosity about the world, and a connection with nature. Through fine art photography, she explores themes related to identity and the relationships between people and their environment
Her work has been displayed in the group exhibition at Spéos Gallery (Paris, France, 2024) and at the Junkabal Art Collective (Guatemala City, Guatemala, 2025).
